Refurbishment and extension of a Grade II listed Strawberry Hill Gothic manor house.
The Hall, a Grade II listed building sits in it’s own grounds surrounded by fields in a prominent setting. The Hall was built by John Astley in the 18th Century in an extravagant Gothic style known as Strawberry Hill Gothic. Our client purchased it in May 2007 as a family home. It was partially derelict and an extensive programme of reconstruction is taking place including the addition of a new swimming pool on the site of an old chapel and a large extension to the rear. The design and construction has been carefully developed working closely with the local conservation officer and planning department.
